Lol thanks again. I'm not sure when I'll terraform either. I've just been collecting clothes to put together different outfits and getting better furniture for my house now that I know what I want each room to be. HHA already gave me the gold plaque on Sunday before I started furnishing my 2nd floor and basement. Meanwhile my island is stuck at 3 stars.

My villagers all seem to be short tempered lately, yesterday Callie was mad at Wendy because of SPOILERS and today Rocco was mad at Flip over something petty.

How often did people kick out villagers in past games? I have a couple of lame ass residents and also two foxes. I need room for some of the cooler ones I saw online.

Anything I should know before I do so? I don’t want to deal with a mutiny.

I don't think I ever deliberately tried to get villagers to move out after the GameCube game (which I played experimentally-dickish sometimes.)

Even Rodeo in this game decided to move out of his own accord to make way for my Hopper amiibo. I basically stopped talking to him leading up to that tho lol.

Makes sense. Speaking of animals moving out of their own accord: is there way to see who’s at risk? I try to talk to them and give them gifts whenever, but I’m not obsessing over it.

They still ask you if they should move so if you want them to stay you have a chance to keep them

IIRC you'll never lose more than one villager at a time, and unless you don't play for long gaps the villager thinking of moving will warn you first.

That apparently doesn't work anymore and its just RNG so a villager you are bestest of friends with can just say they want to move away. So all that shit about ignoring, hitting them, sending trash is worthless.

You have ways to remove them such as

Using Amiibo Cards
Using the Campsite Villager that visits
Using Time Travel

Amiibo Cards is apparently the best way as you can choose who you want to replace. The only disadvantage is that the new characters don't have cards yet so you cant have them this way. Also another is that you have to buy the cards of the villager you want.

Campsite is another way but you can't choose who to replace as the guest will pick at random. You apparently can game the system though by closing the game while the box is up and trying again as they will try again and hopefully pick someone else. The disadvantage is that its a random character that appears at your camp site and you don't see much of those campsite visitors (at least for me) .

Time travel is a way you can use if you cant do the above 2. IIRC how that works is that there is a set number of days (10-15 or so) where the game will select a random villager that tells you they are gonna leave and you can stop them if you want. So you TT to around that day and see if anyone has a cloud over their head, if they do talk to them and see if they wanna leave.

If its the person you don't like then let them go, TT for empty lot, get your new villager, save then TT back and it should act like nothing happened. Otherwise you keep TT ing a day until you see someone with the cloud and they are asking to leave. The disadvantage is the risks of TTing in general and the wholesale murder of your Turnips if you have any since TTing backwards will spoil them instantly.
