Jackshit here that seems interesting enough to get invested in. Cyberpunk is out soon (and competing with Gears Tactics, I think. Along with Biohazard 3), so soundtrack over cinematic makes sense.

Dungeons and Dragons trailer is so fucking weird. It's hectic (of course, it's a battle!!!!) but it looks... bad... And no gameplay shown. I mean it's going to be an RPG what with the DnD IP, obviously, but there's nothing shown.

I guess Bravely if you're wanting more JRPGs like Tiesto, but I still haven't gotten to the DEMO of Bravely Default on my 2DS.

- Bravely Default 2 made me cum

- No RE2 drops, I know the world is buzzing for some sort of surprise RE2 content (with the new achievement)

- Sekiro was only chosen because Geoff's rep would be tarnished if Death Stranding won. The guy is already licking Kojima's uncut hogger

- Reggie's bit on indie games was boring, get on with it man

Only award I've got any opinion on is best art direction going to Control. I feel like even if you feel Death Stranding doesn't deserve to win any awards and you don't like the game, the art direction is impeccable. Shinkawa's touch is everywhere. The logos, the building architecture, the mechanical designs, the clothing, and then you have the photorealistic environment, etc... it's not even a tech thing. Sure the tech is good but the game looks incredible because the art direction is A++++. Really feel like DS should win for art direction. Shinkawa is goddamn amazing artist.

Playing Control now and it looks nice, especially the neat bits of light coming through and colored lighting and some nice architecture but DS is on a whole different level imo.


Also Sekiro win is fine (great game) but I'm salty at a game winning that I couldn't finish 
I wanna see trophy/steam achievement receipts on how many people actually beat that last boss.

Yeah everything looks cool in Death Stranding.

But Control’s art direction to me creates an atmosphere and gives sense to the storytelling and feel of the game. Which is not something DS does. America looks like Iceland? Why? I don’t know I guess to create a very off and sterile version of nature. Ok cool. The architecture of Control really plays into the abstract German clinical abstract expressionism the entire world and story is about. The Oldest House with its impossible post modernism architecture is a character in itself as Control. Control would not be the same game if it didn’t have this weird world that looked man made, but warped by boundless imagination and no limitations.

I mean I think pretty much all your major games have good art direction. Even say Modern Warfare. But I’ll give it too control because everything from the typography to the costuming is pretty cohesive of this post modernism they were going for.  Which for Death Stranding, I cant even think of one phrase to describe what the whole game was going for. Apple Store apocalypse?

Our boi Geoff did a good job putting it together. I did skip the ads so the show had about 60 minutes of actual content on a 3 hour run-time. And again, even that content is mostly ads for new games so. 
I think Geoff should find someone to partner with on this show. It's turning more and more into the "THINGS AND PEOPLE GEOFF KEIGHLY LIKES" show.
Next year, they'll probably have a killer brand of speaker cables or his high school teacher as a presenter or something. "Gee another dude from Canada, haha who would've thought it just happened to be this way lol"
