Beefy fritos burrito: Yes. Yes, yes, yes. Worth a dollar.

Shredded chicken mini quesadilla: decent spice due to the chipotle but maybe a bit small for dollar

Three layer nachos: beans, red sauce, nacho cheese. Decent value nacho.

We first heard the chain was testing its Dollar Cravings menu, a switch from the previous Why Pay More! menu, which seemed to ask a question but really didn’t, over a year ago. This will be the company’s first national value menu offering.
Today those $1 items go national, with 11 new additions including something called a beefy Fritos burrito, chicken mini quesadilla, a cheese roll up, potato soft taco and cinnamon twists.
New food and lowered prices isn’t anything new — Taco Bell is hoping the novelty of different food paired with a low price will make people buy a lot, because hey, it’s only $1 and no one is telling me to be healthy. And then come back and buy some more.

I did this already. Pretty great. I spent 10 bucks and ate 6 orders of buffalo chicken tenders. Not bad at all. I didn't get any gruff or any stonewalling when I'd ask for more.

Hit up some Taco Bell Dollar Menu:
- Beefy Mini Quesadilla
- Beefy Fritos Burrito
- Cheesy Bean & Rice Burrito

Ate the Beefy Fritos Burrito first while hopefully the fritos were still crunchy. They were, and this was a pretty good burrito. Of the three, it was my favorite. Ate the Beefy Mini Quesadilla next; it reminded me of the Meximelt without the pico. Pretty good, had a good flavor, but I ended up wishing it had some pico in there. Saved the Cheesy Bean & Rice Burrito for last, I was already pretty full by then, but for science I had to at least eat a little bit of it. It's far superior to Taco Bell's regular Bean Burrito, which I've always found to be pretty bland. This has a more savory bean flavor and the nacho cheese. The rice doesn't really enhance the flavor, but it gives it more heft than the standard bean burrito.

For $1, pretty damn good. Everything I had was really filling too, so unless you're starving, you don't need more than one or two things.

Nachos were pretty a pretty good size for the price. Potato taco was okay, but I'd rather get just get a regular ass soft taco. The dessert balls though

The burrito is top effing shelf. Cheaper than their regular bean and cheese, no onions, and dat cheese sauce.

Takes a dump on Del Taco's 1/2 LB bean and cheese and beans, rice and cheese burrito too.

A lot of days I struggle to hit 1200 calories but 2 of these is an easy 800 something for $2. Can't wait until I move to half a block from one over Labor Day weekend.

That excitement was justified. Granted I haven't tried everything on the dollar menu, but that burrito is looking to be the most top tier of the Bell. A+ Would eat again.

The cheese rollup, while tasty, is a really horrible value. They should be selling those for 3-for-a-dollar.

Never thought I'd say this, but I missed the charred exterior of the normal quesadilla when I was eating it. Was just real mushy.

I'm gonna put on my burn cream and say I didn't care for the dollar menu. I got a steak quesadilla, bean burrito, Frito beef burrito, shredded chicken mini quesadilla, bean, cheese and rice burrito and the cinnabon deals.

I prefer the regular menu items by a mile. Not enough Fritos, I'm picky about chipotle sauce and the chicken was super dry, all rice and no beans or cheese. The cinnabons were great and my flirting with the cashier got me a 4 pack over the 2. I'll stick with my regular order from now on. This didn't come close to filling me up.

I had that a couple weeks ago, can't say it was bad, just didn't do anything for me. Really didn't like the sweet honey mustard (?) sauce. The gouda and brioche didn't really add much to the thing either.
