I cant drink most bourbon neat unless its the pricey shit. Irish Whiskey and Scotch are generally a lot easier to drink neat or on the rocks. I keep hearing canadian whiskey is pretty rancid but ive never had.

it is made a different way thats why its so harsh and tastes shitty but its got some good notes that are strong. But its not fun to drink.

I drink most bourbon in shots only. I can let scotch linger in the mouth but I just say NO to most bourbon.

Also i'll second the Gentleman Jack recommendation. Its Bourbon for the masses but sometimes that isnt bad.

I don't really get hung over besides being stiff and that differs for liquer to liquer. ever rum but lambs navy makes me really stiff in the morning.

the only hang over was getting drunk in 3 in the afternoon while watching porn and phoning girls with friends in summer grade 7. man I miss those days.

hey malek, hows the head?

I just raided the stachs of old liqueur on the advice of G that it doesn't go bad.

I took up a bottle of Crown Royal, and a bottle of Amaretto di Saronno - I've never had it before but damn does it smell good. What would go with it G or MAF? so I can prepare for next Friday, lol.

Edit: I also found all my moms old old (25-39 years old) stuff that she got when she was in Europe. I found a weird ass bottle of grand macinsh from France. It had ribbins and a wax seal on it. I opened it up (it was opened before) but broke the cork. It smelt like shit and had a really reddish colour to it. Lots of odd stuff that i've never seen and can't tell what it is because its in another language.

what notes could you smell with that one? It could be a cognac and might still be good. Anything after 30 years i'd be worried. As for Ameretto i'd just put it over the rocks. CrownRoyal is good with coke, and for making whiskey sours. If you had more boozes you could mix the ameretto and other thiings to make a brain hemirage.

take a taste thats probably cognac it should be sweet but very warm like a whiskey. If its got bitter notes then its not good probably.

aquired information over the past few years. I am a sponge of information. None of it usually helpful to myself and in getting me a good job but helpful to others. I've also tasted a lot of different drinks. Some i've ordered some otheres have ordered for me. And some they've thrown on me. But thats how i know what i know. Plus i like to be informed about what the science behind the magical concotions are.

If its 8 to 10 it should be good still. But like i said if its got harsh bitter notes that are pale you might not want to drink it.

i just had two drinks at the pub got a number left when she did went to the store picked up some premaid huricane mix and melon drops so i can make Tokio teas with my other booze at home and some Nuclear Ice Teas. Then i got cherry limeade for some tequila vodka fun.
