...is "trap" offensive now? :thinking

It's problematic in the sense that as a concept, its not hurtful or wrong. But it sorta muddles what transgender people are or their identities as people. In essence, some people view traps and transgender as the same group, when they're typically two completely different groups of people.
Or maybe Im wrong with my thinking. In my mind, trap = I'm a man that enjoys passing as a woman, without dysphoria. Transgender = I'm not the gender I was assigned at birth, with severe dysphoria.

Yes.

Ok I'm sorry. :(
Thought it might still be ok for anime memes.
-
No it isn't offensive.

When it comes to 'being offended' I've always been on this side of the argument.
So there's very few things if anything that I would consider offensive.
I'm also not going to feel offended on behalf of other people because I think they would be, I find that the most ridiciulous concept that exists today.
My list of things that I find offensive is very different from yours. I can't possibly expect you to feel offended for me.
I don't use this meme myself because I don't find it tasteful and in some cases it is used as a personal attack (which I rarely engage in anyway) and that's very different from it being offensive.
But calling something offensive does not automatically make it offensive and certainly not for everyone.
Memes can be racist, sexist, violent etc. and those are things (even if there is a gray area) for which there are standards and sometimes even laws.
So whenever someone asks me if something is offensive I tell them no, unless I personally find it offensive.

This is very aggressively ignorant and disrespectful, but I guess I should assume you are just trolling, here

I'm not reading all those Nintex posts, but the way the word "trap" is being used by a large part of internet dwellers is more as a synonim of femboy, crossdresser (many referring to themselves as such) etc.
The meaning itself (of being tricked) is inherently offensive, for obvious reason, but a lot of people just don't use it that way.
Not a very meaningful distinction though, because you could make the same argument for many other slurs.
Seems to me like one of those porn-category remnants, you wouldn't use in real life.
