It’s not so much giving up as it is taking breaks to recharge my “social” batteries.

Other areas of my life begin to suffer (sleep, work, diet, health, finances, etc.) if I begin to go outside my social comfort zone for too long. If I just kept on dating right now my mood would sour fast and I would become a bitter asshole.

Also, unfortunately, my job still dominates most of my waking hours and I need to be super protective of my time and energy so I’m staying ahead of the curve since graphic design is so competitive now-a-days.
