There just isn't much to talk about now but speculate, and we've done a plenty of that in the Iwata thread. The numbers weren't too enlightening from Dec NPD either. There's nothing to talk about now. The sales thread has traditionally been up and down because numbers and discussion comes and goes.

We were poor so the only time I got any money was from birthdays and Christmas, which was usually enough to buy 2-3 used games a year.  I'd just play those games over and over again and got very good at Mario Kart and Starfox compared to the scores/times I was seeing on the internet.  It was still pretty boring but without money, there wasn't shit I could do.  Then I discovered ZSNES and soon I was playing games on emulators instead of replaying Mario 64 for the umpteenth time.

Not particularly, but yes.  Sales weren't bad enough to give up on the series and 3DS is as healthy as any system right now.

Not much to say about those sale numbers, but I definetely get the feeling that MS lost a lot of mindshare that they built with the 360 and to a lesser extent the original Xbox. 360 was behind the PS3 on sales here of course but for the people that didn't just buy a console and their yearly FIFA update, the 360 was an option for either shooter fans ore a bit more core orientated gamers. Now it seems like there is basically no interest in the XBone.

It was also not smart to be the more 'premium priced' of the two. They basically made the same mistake as Sony did with the PS3. The Kinect adds value (presumably), but it adds more to the price than people care to pay when there's a cheaper alternative.

EA screwed up anyway. It's better to have your game out in 50 countries AND getting your money. Instead of just getting the money. The exposure will be minimal. Titanfall is basically already a flop in Europe and Japan.

Ps4 exclusive would've been more lucrative anyway seeing how it trashes the X1 everywhere in sales. But EA accepted the MS moneyhat dick and now they have to swollow it. Too bad for them.
