So, Quantum Break is on Steam now.  Did they actually fix the optimization?

I feel like MS is purposely sabotaging their PC ports of X1 games to get people to buy X1s.  I mean after QB and FH3 botched ports, I'm seriously considering picking up a cheap X1 at some point for those & FH2/Sunset Overdrive.

I've heard forever that Muv Luv is some great VN with MECHA, but $28 nah I've waited 10 years to give a shit, I can wait a couple more until it's $10.
Darius Burst CS has never gone below $25 in like the year since it's been released, which is kinda crazy.  I dig Darius, so I'll play this one for sure, but c'mon, get under $20 already!

Otherwise, yeah Cave stuff is good, but I haven't felt the need to double-dip yet while my X360 versions still work.  Eventually I'll replace them all with PC versions.  Also the CAVE games released so far aren't my favorites though I love Death Smiles.  When they released Mushime Futari or Akai Katana I'll jump in.

Larry the Cable Guy brings a truckload of one-liners to his role as a big-city health inspector, happily going from greasy-spoon diners to low-rent ethnic restaurants. But his easygoing life gets turned upside-down when he's teamed with a stiff, straitlaced rookie partner (Iris Bahr) and assigned the biggest case of his career: investigating food poisoning at the city's swankiest restaurants. When his bad manners and unorthodox methods cost him his job, Larry is forced to go undercover to bring the conspirators to justice and "Git-R-Done!"

Is he still working as a cable guy on the side? If his only job is health inspector why do they call him Larry the Cable Guy?

Why is there not like a major article about how this movie came to exist? There was that huge one about James Gunn and Lindsey Lohan's weird movie with Brett Easton Ellis. How does it not have a directors commentary?

lol, searching for why it exists brought up the GAF thread: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=89751
"Well, at least it looks better than Crash." - White Man, 2006.

"Dane Cook is a jabbering distinguished mentally-challenged fellow but because girls seem to just spontaneously orgasm whenever he's near, people think he's actually worth a shit.

Larry the Cable Guy is just a phony who tries to be as redneck as can be. He's admitted that his whole act is a fake. My beef with him is that it just recycles that old "You might be a redneck" theme from Foxworthy about 10 years ago. Its not original and old hat." - Some terrorist looking taco, 2006.

Well, according to the description, he loses his job as a health inspector and becomes some kind of freelance health inspecting vigilante. Fixing the cable just pays the bills.

Saw Nippon Ichi's Yomawari came out today on Steam.  Almost picked it up on Vita last time I was in Japan.  I heard it's sort of cool, sort of not great.

Also, should I jump in on Superhot at $15?  Everyone sure was raving about this.  I don't really need anymore games to play this year, but $15 seems like an alright price and it probably won't go much further or be in any humble bundles for another year at least.

Eh, I cancelled Berserk Musou (looks bad and marketing is gross) and didn't buy World of FF, so might as well use some of that money I saved on a good game like Superhot and supporting N1's indie titles, so picked up Yomawari in the bundle with Firefly Diaries for $15/each and Superhot for $15.  Good times.

My 20 min experience with yomawari is that it's a ps1 survival horror game aka janky & frustrating but somehow compelling and why you like the genre (if you like the genre) because of its odd non-conformity to gaming standards that just makes it more weird, creepy & unique.

i think it has something to do with how they prioritize which steam servers to connect to and what happens after an action completes

it's actually been like this for various features for a while

for a period the workshop just didn't plain work right in the client because of how it would redirect after an action, but was fine in any browser because it wouldn't run the redirect code

There's about 6 or 7 games that have done it, iirc at least one dev asked Valve if they could do it and was told it was fine.
