True. I remember buying 3 large bottles (32 oz.) about 2 years ago to use in the classroom setting and kept 1 at home thinking I'll never use it up. It sat on my desk for a year and a half. I was about to toss it around Feb to clear up some space, and thought better of it.

That is what I find so upsetting, this isn't March and April where everything was uncertain.  People knew the risks, knew that it wasn't just risking their own health, and still chose to treat this as a political game after seeing the world deal with it for 3 months.  All they had to do was wear a mask and stay at home for a few months and it could have gone back to pretty normal.  Now they either have to restart that 3 months or more likely, just let people die.

"well Disney has enough money they can afford to have security patrolling everywhere and kicking out every person who takes off their masks or doesn't social distance. Why should I be punished and not allowed to go to disneyland because of a few people who won't follow the rules??"

Yeah, it's a pretty big split. Lot of liberal blue areas, but lots of rednecks. Like until all these Huntington Beach protests I never knew that HB was a nazis ground zero for So Cal. I was talking with my friend and he said his whole life anytime he'd go to the beach he'd always see at least one or two people with nazi tattoos at HB. I never went to HB much so I had no idea.

My town was like 90% old white people yelling at the clouds and holding up OBAMA=NAZI signs in front of the post office. In the last decade I've seen a lot more non-white people and younger people so the demographic is changing, but yeah it's shitty.

Orange County been trending purple over the last decade. All that means is that there's still a bunch of conservatives that built up equity over the decades, with more liberal people either moving in from L.A. or going to college and staying, etc.

Several of those democratic congressman that got elected in 2018 were former Republicans, or on the more moderate side. They ran as Democrats because for one reason or another running as a Republican lessened their chances.

so i just saw a clip of gov. abbot bragging about how the numbers his critics have been throwing around about hospitals being 95% full is all because of NON-covid patients, and i'm just  like

Ohio was in the 400-500 range for 3 straight weeks and now it’s been in the 900-1000 range for the past 3-4 days.

Hospitalizations only went up slightly, but ICU cases were cut in half. Probably indicating a much younger demographic.

Noticed the one grocery store I go to the most has removed its 1 way aisle markers and most of the other social distancing stuff. Felt like more people inside than I've seen in awhile. Could just be because I went at 2pm instead of 10pm.
