Yea, but 9/11 killed a bunch of wealthy New Yorkers. Real Americans. Covid is mostly killing old people and minorities.

Real Americans until they complain about something else that would help them, like better jobs, or better housing.

The fact that at least 30K New Yorkers died this year to Coronavirus but the memorial for 3K people died 19 years ago shows what our priorities are. We can certainly at least acknowledge both.

The UK is in the biggest trouble of all of Europe right now , they've already cancelled Christmas and gatherings of more than 5 people.

But there's also the general belief that "more testing = more cases". And indeed, we are doing more testing now.
Deaths and hospitalizations haven't moved much but more young people (18 - 25) have tested positive than before (mainly because the universities opened)

We’ve seen some stuff at the parks in the past few months, but nothing tops today’s scene at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where a man was escorted out of the park for not wearing a mask.

Near the end of the video, he distinctly yells, “Remember the movie that came out at Walt Disney World? It was called A Bug’s Life! Remember Hopper? He said, ‘If one guy stands up, one ant stands up’!”, in a failed attempt to stir up a rebellion of sorts against face masks.

Area business has decided they don't care about the state mandates

However, just like we choose to stand by first responders and essential workers, by offering a safe and educational place for their children, we now choose to stand with our employees who can no longer support themselves on government assistance. We choose to help the nearly 100 applicants a day looking for work and a means to support their families. Lastly, we choose to help the community we love so much by providing a safe, clean, and secure environment away from unhealthy air, dangerous heat conditions, all while implementing a COVID-19 cleaning procedure that by far exceeds any other local entertainment center and CDC guideline.

A few of our safety procedures that go above and beyond what the CDC and county health department have recommended are as follow:

To enter into No Surrender you must do the following

All guests must submit to a voluntary hands-free thermal scan
You must have a face mask covering your mouth and nose

Meanwhile, the facebook page is filled with "my kids cant wear masks" and they respond "thats ok we understand"
