I watched the first three seasons of Prison Break.  :whew

Waiting an entire week for the next episode must've been hell.
that feeling goes away pretty quick once the titular event takes place yet multiple ensuing seasons are pooped out

Watching anything past the first season of Prison Break.  :goty2

I watched the latest season which was like a year ago.  :-*

But yeah the first season is really the only great one.

HBO is officially moving forward with the “Deadwood” movie. The announcement was made by HBO programming president Casey Bloys at the TCA summer press tour on Wednesday.

“All of these people worked hard to get this together,” Bloys said. “It’s been a logistics nightmare getting all the cast members’ schedules together, but we are there. It is greenlit.”

Bloys also said the movie is currently scheduled to begin shooting in October for a spring 2019 air date, but added that the date is not “set in stone.”

I'm still convinced this is either going to end up not happening for the 5th time or be total shit because Milch's twilight of wasting away at the horse track has sapped his ability to concentrate his writing and I am going to once again be metaphorically punching holes in the wall over my disappointment for my favorite TV show of all time.....I'm a little bit bitter and jaded over Deadwood.

Almost done with S2 of Channel Zero, No End House.

This has gotten so stupid.

Like the first ep with creepy haunted house was fine.
Then it becomes tropey every anime/videogame alt-world to escape zzzz
Then last 2 eps it’s like why is this show still going???

Also the characters are so dumb. The writing is bad af

This doesn’t even feel like horror genre, more like B sci-fi.

S1 at least was a kinda creepy horror tale even if it didn’t end as strong as it started. People who really like S1/2 seem to dislike S3, so maybe I’ll really like S3?

My favorite thing about this series is at six eps/45 mins it’s not a huge waste of time to give it a shot.

Definitely hate watching at this point.
The entire subplot with the Dad is so fucking stupid.
Evil teacher from S1 got nothing on this. Why do these seasons have really stupid annoying stuff?

The last ep was generally good. Felt like the first ep was solid and last ep was good but the middle eps didn’t do a good job getting from the start to finish in a non-stupid people being stupid way imo.

Like I’m fine with the concept of

spoiler (click to show/hide)

But most of the other subplots fell flat for me. Like some seemed to be going somewhere and then they just drop a whole bunch midway. Eh, preferred S1.

i really like sharp objects. it's nice to see an HBO mystery show that's fueled by interesting character interactions instead of goofily handled whodunitry. like, The Night Of threatened to be interesting but got completely bogged down in boring-ass macguffins related to the minutiae of the case and "what if the system is bad" commentary. i like how this is framed as a job for hire by a drunk who's pretending they don't really give a shit about the resolution to the story we'd usually be expected to care about. it sets us up to not be disappointed when we don't find out who The Yellow King is or whatever, since that was never the point, and the show doesn't really offer any illusions about that

Is Castlevania worth watching?

Sure!

It's not the best show ever, but it's surprisingly authentic to the games and an enjoyable watch.

Castle Rock is legit

Is this an entire series out day 1, or 1ep/week show? I wanna see it but if it's 1 ep/week will just wait until it's done.

evil genious on netflix - i got through this in two sittings thinking it was longer. need to sit on this a bit longer, not sure i liked how the narrator at the end was like "well these people obviously did it". going to start sacred games next as i hear it caused some backlash in india over its portrayal of certain politicians

Watched the first ep of Sharp Objects.

Got some True Detective Season 1 vibes but it's also very much it's own thing.
Amy Adams can already make some space for her emmy if the quality remains this consistent throughout.
It is very good. Very intense though, just like the lead you could use a drink (or 2) after watching it.

Not sure if that was the intention  :doge

I'm a big fan of the slower stuff like Sharp Objects, The Americans, The Handmaid's Tale and Better Call Saul as long as the characters are interesting.

I hate it when it starts out slow and suddenly goes into overdrive, when plots are set-up that will never be resolved.
Boardwalk Empire easily had the worst last season compared to the rest of the seasons. It was one of those 'poochy died on his way to this home planet'.

Also when you make it slow go easy on the filler. True Detective Season 2 had Vince Vaughn do nonsensical monologues to fill up screen time as well as at least 10 minutes of fetish shaming per episode.
