The worst football game I've ever watched. The Lions looked completely unprepared and lethargic for the entire fucking game on both sides. Especially defense. Our LBs are trash. Levy didn't play due to injury but even that pisses me off given that we still don't know what's up with the extent of his injuries from last season. The secondary was picked apart again too. We can't stop anyone.

Lions passed on at least two potential FGs that were within Prater's range.

Stafford side arm throw for a game ending INT...

I said it last weekend...this offense is built around YAC, outside of that it's very conservative and safe. Alex Smith type shit. That's not going to win a lot of games in this division.

Another thing...time to be very worried about depth, or lack thereof. A couple injuries decimated our LB core. We basically have one CB. We basically have one safety. This could get real ugly.

Jameis Winston is legit. Yea he looked bad on Sunday but QBs usually don't look good against Arizona. He'll be fine.

Wentz looks solid, gotta say I was probably wrong about him. Lots of check downs and quick throws on MNF but he also made some impressive deep throws, he has control of the offense, poise in the pocket (he completed a couple beautiful throws despite taking huge hits immediately afterwards).

Big Ten gotta stick together and all but...Cousins is a backup. He's a check down king who doesn't seem like he can read coverages. Has he beaten a good team recently btw? Seems like his record is ugly as hell but I don't have the numbers in front of me.

I grew up a Michigan fan like most people around here, but the longer you're around that arrogant fan base it becomes unbearable (no offense AiA). I like both Michigan and MSU, I follow the local high school scene, etc. I grew up watching Big Ten football so I gravitate to that scene, and I'm glad the talent gap seems to be shrinking between them and other conferences.

So you know my pain about Lacy. This motherfucker...I drafted him a few years ago during his best year and it worked for me. Tried again last year and it was a disaster. During this off season I saw he lost weight, was in the best shape of his life. Plus the Packers WRs were healthy so I figured it was the perfect time to draft this dude again, knowing that the offense would be fixed.

Dude is still getting dropped after first contact, still slow, still not the power back you expect him to be based on his size. I'm benching him in favor of DeMarco Murry this week. The Lions' run defense isn't bad this year...but then again our LB core is fucked so if he gets thru the line he could have some open fields to play with.

I wasn't expecting a win, we're injury plagued...but this was bad. This team is bad. The offense remains one dimensional, with few attempts down field. The the point GB's safeties didn't really spend much time downfield, instead focusing on YAC threats. With Abdullah out for the next 10 weeks our backfield pass options are a lot weaker, and the run game will suffer. That being said we seem to have a nice rookie RB (Washington). We'll see.

Defense was TERRIBLE. Yea injuries are to blame in many ways but even that doesn't excuse our shitty secondary. LBs are trash. At this point I'm wondering do we even bring Levy back? If he can't stay healthy what's the point. It's amazing seeing the middle of the field wide open every game because our LBs can't play coverage. Speaking of coverage I saw fucking Haloti Ngata drop into coverage at one point.

Our depth is embarrassing. TBH I'm starting to think Caldwell has been sent out to die by the new GM. Not that I'm mad. Looking back at the draft it's clear we were drafting for the future (lots of o-line and d-line depth). We're not making the playoffs, Caldwell is going to be fired...and the rebuild will continue.

I just hope we trade Stafford instead of paying him. What's the point in extending him for a fortune and then rebuilding the team again.
