The Cavs defense is hot garbage.

The offense is predictable but high level but it doesn't work against the one team it needs to work against. The Warriors.

I think it's mostly effort. When they have those garbage nights they look so fucking slow out there.

The Cavs should have been going to Kevin Love for the entire fourth. They shored up their D in the game by trapping Bogdan (who was killing them), but then Vince dad dicked them.

and i've been too busy fuming to realize the cavs lost to the kings

which makes me even more angry that we couldn't follow up our win over boston against the worst team in the nba on a night where toronto, indiana and cleveland lost

it was there for the taking! fuck the wizards

Some of it is definitely effort as they have a second gear they can turn on, but they also have a bunch of legit bad defenders out there.

JR smith use to be a pretty good defender. Now he's got lead in his boots. Everybody blows by him like nothing.

Isaiah Thomas looked good tonight. 16 points in 19 minutes.

Doesn't fix their defensive problems but offense gets even better.

Yeah those big slow footed inside only giants don't work anymore. They just get pulled out of the paint and then get abused with quickness.

Look at how quickly Roy Hibbert became obsolete.

the media going nuts over lavar ball's comments about luke walton is funny because if they didn't report everything the dude says it wouldn't "make headlines" for them to spend all day talking about as some kind of national crisis

I mean the bottle has already been uncorked for bullshit sports media. Or bullshit traditional media for that matter. You can't put the genie back in the bottle. Not that I don't sympathize.

Forward Stanley Johnson is one name that has come up in the Pistons’ conversations with other teams, per ESPN sources.

Opposing teams have come away with the impression that Johnson is available for the right return.

Also the Cavs are having their yearly meltdown where everybody freaks out about them and then they go on to the finals.

spoiler (click to show/hide)
I think its for real this time. Their defense is historically bad. They ain't making the finals.

Unfortunately, as talented as Whiteside is in certain aspects of the game, he has very poor basketball IQ. I see a way higher upside in Bam Adebayo, I hope they keep him around and keep developing his skills.

Agreed on Bam

Also locking up J. Rich for the immediate future looks like a great decision. Especially now that he's stepping up as Dion's out for the calendar year.

John Wall and Bradly Beal are ruining the Wizards.

Neither of them are hungry enough, they don't have an ego between them, and and they refuse to excel because of it. John Wall is the best and fastest PG in the NBA (Fuck Curry and Fuck Russ) and Beal is a top 10, maybe even top 5 SG.

One of them needs to be traded so they both can be as great as they should.

Bradly Beal shops at Zara. Zara! What multimillionaire does that? One that is too humble, too weak to get it done and elevate those around him.

Ya'll know I'm right!

WIZARDS SHOULD BE MURDERING THE EAST, THESE SOFT-EGO DORKS ARE KILLING THE TEAM AND THEMSELVES.

John Wall tried to front when he was talking about showing Lonzo 'No Mercy' and he got clowned. Why? Because he didn't really feel it in his heart. These boys are too soft. The Drakes of Basketball.

Why can't Wall even get shoe deal anywhere when he's a top well-known player and has been trying since him and Adidas parted ways? Cause he doesn't have that killer instinct. Neither does Beal. They're dragging each-other down with their lack of energy and confidence. Bradly Beal shops at Zara. Zara! What multimillionaire does that? One that is too humble, too weak to get it done and elevate those around him.

THE MAGIC ALMOST BEAT THEM. THE MAGIC. THIS IS INSANITY.

Trade Wall to the Cavs or something. Send Beal to the Nets. One of them has to go so they can both be great.

Good points man. Would you like to trade both for Andre Drummond and Reggie Jackson?

So, the bad news is that our winning streak was snapped. The good news is Cavs got spanked too, so we can still conceivably overtake them

NBA fights are decided by whoever gets the most teammates to grab them when they shout "HOLD ME BACK".

Except Boogie and ZBo, who actually truly scare the other players.

162 of his 200 attempts this year are threes :lawd

though SVG still seems to entirely ignore that he'll go a month jacking them up at 20% before suddenly hitting 80% for three games or so, neither the Knicks nor SVG seemed to remember he was on the court because all he was doing is throwing up bricks every three minutes
