"The Jinx" is so good.  When it dawned on me that Durst himself called the director for an interview I was like :ohhh and since then I've remained :ohhh for 5 episodes straight.

Yeah and I was surprised that there appears to be some actual revelation at the end instead of just ending on "so that's the story, you decide!"

Based on the fact that it'll only be 8 episodes long, I'm assuming that the next season of Banshee will be the last. I'm confident that they'll end it right.

Yeah I can't believe I slept on it. I can see how some would be down on the aesthetics change in s2 but even that they knock out the fucking park.

Also Banshee S3 was GOAT season of TV. I hope Season 4 is incredible, too.

I'm glad justice will (hopefully) be served, but a bit dissapointed I'll never get the opportunity to play poker with this guy. Between his bank account, his desperate need for approval and his comically overstated twitching when he lied, I'd have been set for life.

It's like the history channel meets roadhouse with some Khan fuckery included.

catching up on comic book tv stuff,

Agent Carter's first (only?) season is solid.  all the corny antics of ABC/marvel are more at home in the 1940s.

not much to say about The Flash except thumbs up for making a sodomy joke.

Arrow is all over the place this season.  maybe the rest of the season brings it together but so far it's all feeling unfocused.  best scene was

Yeah critics savaged it but I had zero gripes with it. I would even bump it up to an 8 imo. I know a big part of it was the whole white savior/white main character thing but Marco gets clowned on constantly throughout the show and it never feels hollow when he wins or comes through at something.

And yea, Hundred Eyes deserves his own show. Or maybe his own movie.

Just got through watching it.

Unlike some in the thread I was consistently gripped from beginning to end for the whole mini-series. I thought it was just a fantastic piece of work. A real life gone girl style type thriller that sets up everything exceptionally and toys with your emotions the whole time.

I keep going back and watching Durst practically self destruct when he's called on the similarities between his two writing samples. He tries to keep playing it cool, but his face gets all red and he starts coughing and covering his face and it's just like "Wow. I'm looking at the exact moment where a man who has gotten away with murder for 30 years realizes its over." Just insane.

The most common comparison I hear is like the spanish telenovelas. Which is actually a smart approach. It's been a while since trashy soap-operas (non-reality TV I mean) were in vogue in America like Dynasty and Dallas and the hip-hop market is the perfect place to capitalize on such a thing.

What's funny is how I can relate. Not to the murder thing obviously. But when you've lied about something. And somebody presents that lie right to your face. And you are trying to figure out how to spin your way out of it, but there is absolutely no way to do it. You are just caught.

Also, started The Shield few weeks ago, currently at season 2. I think if the quality stays the same or gets even better, it might have a chance to beat The Wire

I wish Oliver would take Ras Al Ghul's offer.

I like that they can't come up with a convincing point against taking it.  two characters repeat the same "it's the league of assassins!" line.

also the flashbacks suck and are pointless.
