That's right, Nate. I lost all my irl friends a couple of years ago when I became a mild alcoholic, dropped out of college, lost my job, my girlfriend, and then almost died in a drunk driving accident. Then I moved back in with my folks and spent the next six months trying to manage my severely mentally ill father and barely left the house. Then he got worse and I moved to a city where I had no friends and got a dead end job where I can't make any friends because everyone is too old, too young, or the kind of washed out loser that doesn't make friends with anyone. So yeah, I haven't had a single friend in about two years, not because I can't, but because my life is like being duct-taped face first into a dark corner of a room with cobwebs.
