There was a docu film called noodling or something about the same thing.

Whisker Wars is the best semi-parody reality show I've seen, but I've only caught one episode.

Also, why can't you respect our culture Maurice?

I'm surprised Warehouse 13 is still on the air. Did it improve? It was cute, but seemed unsustainable.

Yeah, but I do think they had their Darabont-colored spectacles on.

I liked it, just not as much as the comics. It's its own thing though, and I'm happy to have episodic zombie fiction on TV.

i'm pretty convinced walt is the guy that done this. the main tip off for me is walt and camera both focusing on the plant which is obviously a weakness as brock is primarily rock type.
:lol

spoiler (click to show/hide)
If it turns out that Walt is somehow responsible, I'll probably be fine with it. There were a few brief facepalm-filled seconds where I seriously thought they were going to say the kid ingested it by smoking the cigarette.

Also, when watching the end of the prior episode with Walt losing his shit in the crawlspace, I had a really stupid stoned thought that Walt might be in the onset stage of Huntington's Disease

Just now caught up on Breaking Bad.

spoiler (click to show/hide)
The whole intentional poisoning angle is ludicrous no matter who they would say did it.  I'd wager they'll go with the kid snatching one of Jesse's cigarettes while his jacket was off and back was turned (revealed as a sentimental moment of filial admiration of his father figure); Jesse will blame himself and do something reckless.

i don't know if it's so ludicrous. they could easily just give us one omitted detail that would make it all make sense. sure the kid could've grabbed the cigarette but he couldn't smoke through the glass vial. he'd have to smoke it to the vial, figure out something was up, be like "hey what's this?" and then ingest it (kids are generally pretty thicc so maybe). i'm really praying that they don't fuck up the finale because this season has been very hit and miss for me and i want to stay enthusiastic. they could redeem the whole season or ruin it with this episode

They've really extended the magic rules of Warehouse 13 to keep coming up with plots. The original take was that its a show based on mysterious ancient artifacts, but now its a show about how any historical item can have unpredictable bizzaro magic. One episode was about a tip jar that belonged to the Donner party. It turned everyone into ravenous, freezing zombies.

I haven't liked Community in season 3.  I liked S1 and some of S2, but the show is too precocious.  Already feels like it's in a late series slump, like The Office is in now (at 7 or 8 seasons in).  Parks and Recreation is in its 4th season and it's continuously fresh and hilarious.

Torchwood Miracle Day hit netflix the other day and I've watched a few episodes of it.  I forgot how cheesy the show gets.  I mean, there's literally a gay sex scene cut between a different sex scene.  The gay one was initiated by a character randomly entering a gay bar.  In the straight one, the guy breaks into a woman's house, then they bone because...?

The Community thread at GAF is scary. It's like the Lost threads there: a bunch of people so obsessed and in love with the characters that they're blinded to the flaws of the actual show.

I watched it cause I thought to myself: "There's no way to make a show scary and keep it going in the serialized fashion of other dramas" So I had my doubts going in and they weren't justified at all. Show is one hell of a mind fuck. I was glued to the tube till the end and It's got my clamoring for more.

Just go in with an open mind and you'll have a good time.

Whatevs, I've already learned to ignore Community GAF even post-Costanza, weird when people cite that as their reason for hating it...

First two episodes were alright, maybe a step down. Don't know how anyone could hate on the last one, you be crazy.

Chang is weird because him and Troy were the best in Season 1.  Chang was changed into a pathetic, dumpy guy.  I thought him becoming a security guard would be a return to how he was in Season 1.  Instead he's still how he was in Season 2, just as a bummy stupid security guard.  I guess most people, including the show creators and writers, prefer that.

Chang was minor character in the first season which is why he was good. Ever since the hangover they've turned him into a major character but they have no clear design for what they want him to be so he's essentially turned into a cartoon character.

That Beavis and Butthead trailer is great.  I watch some episodes every now and then.  Glad to see that it looks like it will still be good.  First time I'll make an active attempt to watch MTV in nearly a decade :o

Oh and Community has always sucked.  The show tries to be too zany and clever and usually fails at both.  That and the fanbase for the show is absolutely wretched.  I don't even give a shit about The Big Bang Theory except for the brief pleasure knowing that the show results in screams of asshurted anguish from the Community fanbase.  I guess it means that the show is doing something right.

Breaking bad

spoiler (click to show/hide)
With Gus and the cartel's gone this leaves things wide open for opportunity. Will Jesse get out of the game altogether? Will Walt see an opportunity to make his own move? Or vice versa will Jesse see a grand opportunity to take over the drug trade. The only thing left behind is Mike, and Gustovo's laptop which recorded everything Jesse and Walt did in the super lab. I can see next season showing the DEA investigating Gus and them finding the smoking gun against Jesse and Walt and how that all plays out.

I actually started on the second season of Parks and Rec because that's what was recommended to me.  The first season was described as more of an Office ripoff than its own show, but more than anything I was surprised by how unlikable everyone was.  Not in a wacky, AD/Always Sunny/Archer way either.

spoiler (click to show/hide)
I don't think it's wildly unrealistic. People in shock do things like that odd things like that, especially OCD Gus. And head injuries are funny (not haha funny) things. The body does weird things as it's dying.

It was just an unconcious reaction by him. It's not like his final thoughts were "I must die with a proper knot in my tie"

I watched Parks and Rec like this:  first episode of season 1 when it aired; hated it and didn't bother watching any more.  heard good things late in Season 3, checked it some of Season 3 on Hulu and thought it was hilarious.  Went back and saw Season 2 on Netflix, again, hilarious.  Thought to give Season 1 another shot; still didn't like it.

Season 1 feels so different from the other three

so far season 3 is the best because
