Knock on wood but this is already WAY more stable than New Leaf. I remember getting a bunch of bugs on someone's island in New Leaf (BN? Cindi? maybe someone else) but then the online glitched and the game crashed and I lost everything. Still could happen here, but I have literally had zero problems outside that first time I tried going online and letting Cindi come buy turnips.

It still beats walking up and down randomly. My friend made me a Bait Convert. 🙏🏻

Especially for something like the Stringfish which can only be caught on "cliff rivers," and I have only one of those, and it's VERY short at that. Bait basically makes it possible for me to catch a Stringfish where as it would be soooooo difficult without it.

Amazing, productive day of Animal Crossing: New Horizons!

- Paid off my debt via turnips sold at Joe's
- Accrued over 70k in bells from the fish and critters I've caught
- Learned an early game money making trick (man face stink bugs which come out around 11-12 pm make BANK and are VERY common, much more reliable than fishing)
- Harvey came over
- Finished all three villagers houses
- Decorated my own house
- Planted all fruit, including coconuts
- Weeded my entire island. It's now as clean as a whistle

Oh right.

Beezy don't plant coconuts too close to the beach edge. They'll die if you do. Same goes for other trees. Look at the distance between trees when planting. If you plant wrong you can lose a valuable fruit.

Btw Lager whatever way you signed off soft-crashed my and Dickie's session, everything we did while you were over got wiped out.

In fact your internet seemed a little flaky in general, it took two "tries" before a successful attempt to come to my island, and similarly there were two "tries" before the session soft-crashed.

When it crashed it said "A player you were with just left silently..." or something like that, and then Dickie and I walked out of the airport. I saw all the trees we had shaken still had apples and yup, soft crash.

If we could figure out what caused it we can tell other players and prevent it from potentially becoming widespread.
