American Hunger should be praised as much as Madvillainy, The Unseen, The Cold Vein, and all those other weird indie rap classics of the aughts.
I'm halfway through the first disc now and it still holds up nicely. Catching things I didn't before like how Right There is almost certainly a shot at Doom

And then there's the more obvious one Watch Out
This was the hardest rap beef I had to endure because Doom is one of, if not my GOAT, but I never felt Grimm had any reason to lie considering everything he's been through and sitll managed to help Doom out post-KMD.
That aside, I'm loving how it's "grown man" rap without beating the listener over the head with preachiness and how much of the social commentary he spoke on 10 years ago is still very relevant today.
