I was just listening to a radio piece about the #fakenews momo scandal
- @momo stop terrifying my kids you piece of shit -
that the UK press have been ablaze with the last few days, and how the nominally reputable fact checking reputable mainstream press... well, fucking aren't fact checking, because they want those clicks and don't want to look like they're behind everyone else with the news, and a childrens internet safety expert or some shit used an amazing phrase why parents shouldn't freak the fuck out and stop their kids going online;
Digital Resilience.
That's what era lack. Digital fucking resilience. I can only assume their middle class parents had active netnanny subscriptions for most of their formative years.
Now, that's not to say I want kids being exposed to the kinds of heinous shit that exists online, but all I'll say is I've been tubgirled and it will take an awful fucking lot to shock me online now.
