AJ Jenkins is really odd when you have nobody at right guard. Make me believe Harbaugh.

I would say I feel kind of left out as a Falcons fan, but, you know, Asante Samuel for 7th rounder and all that.

Irvin was arrested AGAIN last month. Dude has serious issues with the law, ie. Pac Man Jones Redux.

Plus, there were more talented players at the same position. What the hell were Schneider and Carrol thinking?!?

If Janoris Jenkins continues to fall in the second round I'd roll the dice on him; dude is a head case fuck up, but he'd be a top 10 pick if it wasn't for that shit. Our secondary is fubar, we gotta take a shot in the dark if we can.

I wouldn't support taking an RB in the second round under any circumstances. I love LaMichael James...but no.

I thought the Niners were taking Jenkisn to be honest. Maybe they avoided him due to the off field issues.

Don't the Lions need help on run D?

The run D confuses me. On paper we have one of the best d lines in the game, but can't stop the run to save our lives. I think part of it has to do with Suh being marginalized by offenses so effectively; he had a sub par second season. Overall I'm confident the d line will improve this season, and while I'd love to add a solid LB or DE...the secondary is the pressing issue. It's turrible. At least the d line has the pieces to be good/great

Irvin is one of the best LBs in the draft imo. If he keeps his nose close he very good

The NFL draft is normally a totally different story by even a year later. Kirk Morrison (Buffalo Bill)was mentioning how he couldn't name anyone else drafted in the top ten of the Matt Stafford draft class. I couldn't name one either without googling it. Supposedly Aldon Smith was a reach last year and he turned out awesome.

WHAT THE FUCK HAWKS.

Irving is going to play LEO and will tear it up...... if he can stay out of jail.

I gotta trust Carroll and Schneider with this one.  They've done a pretty damn good job finding players out of nowhere and turning them into ballers.  I don't give a damn if Kiper or WalterFootball hate our picks.  Someone on another board put it this way - are you going to trust the people who thought Aaron Curry was best-in-class or the guy who made Brandon Browner a Pro-Bowler?

I think the o-line would be fine if people could stay healthy......that always seems to be a problem with this team.  Carpenter was absolute dog shit at the beginning of the season but I attribute that to no OTAs because of the strike and being out of shape.  As it went on though he dropped some lbs and actually looked like a 1st round pick at times but then he got hurt and, well, off to the PUP ya go.  Same with Okung and Moffit.

I wouldn't be against more o-linemen but I think the first thing they need to address is OLB.  They need LBs.  Kind of curious to see if they'll try to jump someone to get Upshaw.

A WR? No help for the secondary. I'm at a loss for words. We're going to have an even better passing game, but outscoring teams doesn't work when you have the fucking Bears and Packer defenses in your division. omg

I'm cool with the Russell Wilson pick. If the guy was a few inches taller he probably would've been a top 10 pick and easily better than Tannenhill.  It was kind of out of left field and unexpected but at least I feel better about the QB situation going into camp with Flynn and Wilson as possible starters instead of who we had last year.....  *shudder*

I'm reeeeeeeeaaaaly interested to see how this works out. The backfield is stacked.

If I had a guess, it would be that they will cut Dixon since Jacobs will fill the power back role. I wonder what they'll do with Kendall Hunter.

I wouldn't be surprised if the NFL goes out of business in the next 15-20 years. I'm not saying this suicide had anything to do with concussion issues (although it seems likely), but the liability and lawsuits are going to continue stacking up as more players retire/get older.

I'm a Lions fan and our RB (Jahvid Best) has had multiple concussions in his college and professional career. He's pretty much a few more from forced retirement; I doubt he'll be in the league in 3 years tbh.

The game has already seen some major changes on what defensive players can and can't do, yet the game is still inherently dangerous - you can't just stop LBs from destroying guys over the middle if it isn't head to head blows, for instance.

Yea. The Saints coach and Vilma getting banned for an entire season (and Suh's ban last season) reeks of example making, not making the sport weak. I complain about refs babying QBs all the time but in terms of physical contact it's not hard to see why the NFL is going this route.

My problem is more with stuff like making it such a pass friendly league, and giving WRs a leg up against secondaries due to contact rules.

Yeah, let's ignore the fact that Seau went through a messy divorce a couple of years ago, apparently had several failing businesses, and allegedly tried to kill himself by driving a car off a cliff a while back.  Clearly this is all due to concussions he sustained while playing football.

I'm sorry he's dead, but slow your roll here people.

The lawsuits will be just be a cost of business. The NFL isn't going anywhere.

Well, I don't think a previous suicide attempt is evidence against some form of concussion-induced or -abetted depression.

Just read that 1/6th of the Super Bowl Chargers team he was on are now dead.  WTF?

lightning strike

drug overdose
enlarged heart
two heart attacks

Only one of those can possibly be linked to PCS (though three might be tied to PEDs).

Good job, guy. Way to go. Way to prove all the critics wrong. Nothing says you're mature and ready to take on a leadership role like beating up your mom. Go hang out with Deion Sanders some more, you washout.
