I'm apparently benjipwns on GOG, shocking I know. There's a recurring bug that keeps coming and going in Galaxy, if you find that your keyboard doesn't work after running Galaxy. Just hit the right Alt button twice.

They've "fixed" the bug three times now. :lol

It's kinda amusing to watch them develop this thing as they go though, especially with Steam sitting here as an obvious kind of blueprint. Galaxy had nowhere to indicate how much HD space a game would take up if installed nor how much the download would be for months, I think there's like a 150 page thread on their forums about it.  :lol

Reminds me of watching Origin develop until EA was just like "fuck it." I'm glad I'll be able to forever see dead games like Need for Speed World or the three Battlefield Hardline Betas or four copies of Peggle I somehow got in my library.

Yeah is there any way to look at the game extras from in the client?  I know you can look at the manuals but I can't figure out how to look at stuff like maps or other bonus extras.

Still, this is way nicer than having to download a bunch of zip files and install and run it separately and make a shortcut in steam.

One-click install for your whole library instead of the old method of getting multiple install programs. Other than that not really. Though they do have achievements for The Witcher 3. :lol

I believe that's on the "coming soon" list. They only just recently got all the stuff for installing/running/outside settings for a game implemented. There wasn't a download queue like a month ago.

No, they just kinda stopped adding features to it other than slowly adding voice chat. I mean, it updates from time to time, but I can't tell what if anything they're doing to it. The changelog usually just says "Miscellaneous bug fixes."

I got my steam controller in today, played pretty good on 8bitboy though it seemed to conflict with the system default of emulating a keyboard and mouse. To fully use the goddamn thing you have to use big picture mode, I turned 8bit boy in desktop mode first then switched to big picture to try to fix it tough still had that weird conflict when it worked correctly it worked like a champ ymmv.

Tried to play umehara, christ that was awkward.

Played some KOF 98, used the stick as the dpad, threw hao-kens like nobodys business tried to emulate the dpad on the track pad.  :kobeyuck

Actually, I found the D-pad to be REALLY good if you fuck around with the dead-zones. Maybe it's just me, but you get a more responsive (and doubled-up) input from that. Seems that double-input may be a bug but you could use it to your advantage against stick players and completely own them. Problem for me is that the A/B/X/Y and other buttons for six button fighters are just awkwardly placed. But if someone 3D prints and hardware mods the controller (something Valve is looking forward to/endorses) the left touch-pad/D-pad could be REALLY good with a hori-sized button layout or something on an expanded arcade-stick sort of layout maybe.

:yeshrug That's just me dicking around for 30 mins with it though in Street Fighter 4. YMMV.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/353690/

If this gets out of early access and gets cheap enough, I'll check it out. It might be cool. But I don't expect it to reach those lofty "muh realism" goals or even get out of early access.

I know they're starting at the first one for continuity sake, but this is like starting with Street Fighter 1 on steam.  The gameplay has advanced so far after a dozen entries in the main series and spin-offs, it's kind of boring to play the original at this point.

Actually scratch that, starting with La Pucelle would be Street Fighter 1.  This is like starting with SF2 regular edition.

NIS is probably banking on nostalgia since D1 is the most recognizable game they have.  If the game is like 10/15 bucks at launch I'll grab it and play it a few hours.

Do you like big numbers? If yes, you'll be in for a treat. The main game/story can be beaten easily. But the real meat of the series is the "grind" to make better characters to beat the post game (read: Baal) stuff.
