Title: Need laptop advice...

I have the money to either buy a MacBook and experience the best of both worlds, or get a cheaper laptop and a HDTV I could bring to college with me. I'm not sure what I should do. My major is Game Graphic Programming (Computer Programming) and I just need something that can run XNA :P.

Get a macbook. You really dont need an HD tv in college.

Can I hook my 360 via VGA up to my macbook at college? I'd like to avoid bringing a TV.
