Some days I am running late and don't have time to pack a lunch. So, I figure I can survive on water and Pepsi. But, 2 o'clock rolls around and I can here the faint whispers of the vending machine ....
.... today it was Hot Fudge Sundae Pop Tarts for the low price of .85. Vending Machine wins another one.

There is just something demoralizing about overpaying for food that is terrible for you. It's like a bad blow job followed up by a kick to the nuts.

When I worked at Monster.com, I would usually forgo lunch thinking I could make it to dinner and fall back on vending machine stuff. Used to be either Chips and Soda or Pop Tarts/Rice Crispies/Candy and Soda.
Vending machines are a bane on humanity!

I thought this was about beating up the vending machine after it didn't give you the food you already overpaid for. Now THAT'S the worse.
Back in HS, other kids on the baseball team and myself used to tip over the vending machines and then slam them back down. So many free snacks. :D

I used to set the prices on vending machines to fuck with people. 100 bucks for a sandwhich. It was funny as hell. I'd just sit there and watch. And almost always someone would think it was meant to be a buck but they would keep putting ones in. then i'd just walk up after they put the money in and buy milk and a muffin with the money they put in and pocket .75-2.25 I was desperate back then that was when i was 13 i dont do that anymore.
But i still go and reset the prices on the coke machines near my house and sit on the bench at the store to watch people its funny as hell.

I do this all the time when people aren't around and there are no security cameras in sight. If you slam 'em hard enough, you can take your pick from all of the delicious goodies that come flooding out of the dispenser. :D
