OTHER/NEITHER NOT AN OPTION :punch
-
both are extremely untrustworthy thugs who I wouldn't let clean my toilet :maf

it's not gonna be rudy. it'll be fred thompson for the repubs in the last minute, and he'll f'ing take the presidency. :(
-
I'm the lone vote for Rudy (thus far), but really I am leaning towards Bloomberg.

you are the reason all signs point to hillary is probably giddy if bloomberg gets in. :lol
PEROT 2.0 = Clintons win again.

Yea probably ... unless Bloomberg can motivate the young democrats. I feel like Hillary has no support from them.

young democrats never show up anyway. Part of the reason Obama is doomed. Relying on young people in terms of politics tends to backfire.

As I've long-said, Clinton gets my vote.
-
well, the Democrat of course!
If you lean to one side you should vote straight party lines, that way your votes count more if that party gets control. You not only voted for your reps (and maybe a senator) but you also voted for that party to control things.

Choose a side or DIE~ There can be no middle ground!!

Blah, I don't want either. But just because I don't want a Republican administration for a good while now, I'll vote Clinton if this is the case. Not saying that Dems are any better, but let's at least have a change.
But c'mon, Obama fo' reals.

Fixed for great justice! :punch

If he gets the Repub nominationm more power to him. I'd definitely think it over a bit more if it came down to Ron Paul and Obama.
-
In vain did he demonstrate to them that the human will is free, and that he chose neither; they obliged him to make a choice, and he determined, in virtue of that divine gift called free will, to vote for Clinton.

The threats to our city, and our planet, are inconvenient truths that we can no longer avoid facing, and that we can no longer wait for Washington to confront
I appreciate the nerdy, civic-minded bureaucrat archetype that Michael Bloomberg seems to represent. But it's just funny when someone decides to support him, going against their own beliefs on the ONLY issue that gets them worked up, just to preserve their own sense of superior reasonableness.
-
I'm voting for Obama.

Some fortunate souls are able to pick a candidate they feel is best at running the government in the most efficient manner. They don't get caught up in litmus tests, "anyone but candidate x" or other political leverages that the two party system feeds upon.
Besides, my core issue is now a non-issue in the eyes of politics. It's not if ... it's when and by how much.
-
Yeah, that would make sense if all the president had to do was meet some objectively defined goal of "efficiency" in services, and didn't have to decide issues involving legitimate disagreements or conflicts of interest.
Political conflict happens because people disagree on things (abortion, tax structure, foreign policy, trade regulation, environmental regulations, labor law, etc.). They will still disagree about them even if a nice, moderate, technocratic guy is elected president.
You seriously think that GLAAD and Focus On The Family will realize that they have the same stance on gay marriage once Bloomberg explains which solution would be efficient? That Cato and EPI would agree on Social Security? That CAIR and AIPAC would agree on a Middle East policy?
Really?
