Dossier looks nicer, but it's $5 cheaper? What's the difference? Which is better?

As for Terminator, T2's newer release was shittier than its older one, so I don't want to fuck up again.

Nice site.
Turns out Dossier edition is the obvious choice (it includes the other version of the flick), but it's $5 cheaper. Go fig.

Dossier includes Redux and the original version, but it is cropped from the original aspect ratio of 2:35:1 to 2:00:1, apparently a decision made by the cinematographer. The original DVD doesn't look nearly as good as Dossier, but isn't cropped:

Redux is awful -- do not buy that version.

Too late now, I can live with the crop. I wonder what his reasons were.

Also, with the Dossier edition, you have to switch discs partway through the movie.
