Abrams is a solid director, he doesn't stand out but he is very competent.

Oh and he isn't directing this movie so why blame him? He isn't even writing it! He is just producer. He is busy with 'Trek right now.

you thought it was a bad trailer when you thought it was directed by abrams? :lol

I can understand not wanting to see a movie due to a director but thinking a trailer looked cool depending on who you thought directed it is absurd and stupid.

But I heard a few other people get freaked out too, and all this at the same time I was seeing it was fucked up.
