Also consider this a Sam Raimi appreciation thread.
-
Top 3:
1. Evil Dead 2
2. Spider-Man 2
3. Army of Darkness

He said his best movie, not your favorite. It's probably A Simple Plan. His most accomplished work as a filmmaker.
-
I don't know how people could vote for anything other than the Evil Dead flicks. I mean, seriously.

... Uh, A Simple Plan?
-
I'm split between A Simple Plan and Darkman, myself. It's interesting that looking at his filmography, the only out-and-out bad movie he's ever done has been Crime Wave. Everything else is at the very least entertaining.
-
For Love of the Game is pretty bad.
-
I thought it was pretty emotional, especially when seen alongside Costner's other baseball-themed movies.
-
Man he has made some shitty flicks. I do appreciate him showing us those boobies though.

For The Love of the Game was very enjoyable

Army of Darkness for me. Spider-Man 2 runs a close second.

look into the blue diamond

Evil Dead 2. Easy.
-
I got your back Wilco.
Paxton = The Man.

He's only made two shitty flicks. So he's got like an 85% batting average. That's pretty not bad.
and whoever voted for Darkman has got my respect.
Gosh dang, what a resume, Raimi kicks arse.

I voted for A Simple Plan. Rewatched it recently and it still works brilliantly as a study of greed/paranoia.
