He said his best movie, not your favorite.  It's probably A Simple Plan.  His most accomplished work as a filmmaker.

I'm split between A Simple Plan and Darkman, myself.  It's interesting that looking at his filmography, the only out-and-out bad movie he's ever done has been Crime Wave.  Everything else is at the very least entertaining.

I thought it was pretty emotional, especially when seen alongside Costner's other baseball-themed movies.

He's only made two shitty flicks.  So he's got like an 85% batting average.  That's pretty not bad.

I voted for A Simple Plan. Rewatched it recently and it still works brilliantly as a study of greed/paranoia.
