Now how is Project Sylpheed? I opened it but didnt get around to playing it earlier because I got hooked on playing PAcman CE for a few hours.

Post by: Fragamemnon on July 12, 2007, 02:36:23 PM: I bought Overlord yesterday (via INTERNETS) for $30 on the PC. I'll be playing with a 360 pad when the game arrives next week as I hear the mouse controls are not so good.

I'm still sorta skeptical since the demo was so basic, but I heard that the game did get more complex and interesting as it progressed. People's main complaint now seemed to be a juvenile claim that the game wasn't "evil" enough, which is bullshit, as the game is not about ripping people from limb to limb but being a comically evil character.

Also, Tom Chick liked it, and I like Tom Chick.

In other news, new Silent Hunter IV patch today, and I need to snag Vegas for the PC as they just said they were going to release the map packs and a new patch for that version of the game.

Post by: TVC15 on July 12, 2007, 04:19:57 PM: The humor in the game is pretty charming so far. I played for like 2 hours last night. I am hoping to really crack it open once I get home. It looks good and it's got a nice, consistent art style, too.

From the sound of other people playing the game, it appears it is pretty lengthy, too.

I have only played a little bit past whats in the demo so im not sure if it meets the expectations set by the demo yet.

I just got the crane and started rebuilding the tower.

I wish the world areas were a little bigger - less load screens....
