FUCK! i logged on and all my buddies were there and then just disappeared all of a sudden.
so, if you guys still want to talk to me or whatever, IM me so I can add you again. If you never want to speak to me again, jump for joy, fuckers.
-
I forgot your AIM, what is it?
-
Mupepe :-*
-
did it delete me too?
-
aim sucks, use msn
seriously, only old-timey shitcrown feggits use aim
-
i only use it cuz 99 percent of my friends use it. the program does suck
-
I use Adium on my Macs and Trillian Astra on my PC.

aim sucks, use msn

add me on msn then
-
how does aim "suck" you write text and it sends it back and forth, I'm not no pro aim supporter but I thought everyone basically uses it.
Europeans use MSN
-
make your friends use msn if they wanna talk to you, then
demi, as with all online social networking i do, people are required to come to ME, not vice versa.
-
ok, then let me just come over to you oh wait i can't :(
-
MSN is superior. You can use it when you're on your Xbox 360 too. I'll be honest, you could delete all my contact lists but MSN and I'd be fine. I spend approximately 95% of my IM'ing on MSN. I only have AIM and YIM because I was a dumb teenager when I started messaging folks and 95% of my contacts are on those.
-
demi, then you didn't want to talk to me bad enough!
-
yeah that's true.
-
:)
-
msn is great, I started using it when I had to work with some canucks when playing WoW but it really is awesome compared to the shitware that normally passes for desktop IM clients.
-
what makes it better? You're basically sending text messages back and forth to people. How the hell do you soup that up so that it's better in one program than another?
-
more stable? more presence information? better content sharing? better integration with other internet applications?

more stable? more presence information? better content sharing? better integration with other internet applications?
Are those questions, or comments?
I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything. Could you elaborate on those a bit, though?
For instance, I've never had any problems with my old version of AIM + DeadAIM being unstable. I have no idea what presence information is, though, so I can't comment on that. I don't really grab files from other people, but friends using AIM 5 easily download stuff from me all the time.
-
msn is where its at, me and demi cyber all the time on it
:-*
-
my aim is SlinkyT82, IM me and make me guess who you are, only for a bit though if I don't get it in like 5 tries :-*
-
Ecro, one of my problems with aim that many other messengers have used for ages is a goddamn message HISTORY and offline messages.
-
You don't back up your buddy list??
Ecro, one of my problems with aim that many other messengers have used for ages is a goddamn message HISTORY and offline messages.
New versions of AIM have message history (for months or years now), and so does DeadAIM. And I'm pretty sure new versions of AIM have offline messages. I dunno cuz I use an old version with freebie DeadAIM.
Stability has never been a problem for me.
-
I think the atrocity that is AIM 6 includes both message history and offline messaging.
-
More stable? I've been using AIM 5.9 since release and I've never had it crash once. I'm with Ecro, for basic messaging how is one client that much different than the other? Better interface for selecting fonts? Other than aesthetics I don't see the point (note I use adium on all my macs).
Mupepe are you sure it actually deleted all your buddies? Sometimes I've seen it have stupid network trouble where it doesn't load your list, but eventually it comes back.
-
nah, they're totally gone. it left my mobile buddies. I went from 150 buddies to 27. fuck
-
Zi Mog. IM me again. Work sucks
