Sengoku Basara (or whatever it's called) has never come out in the US?  'cuz this is obviously some sort of spinoff from the main series.  ???

We got the first SB as Devil Kings. It was heavily altered version of SB1, however.

This is awesome; I forgot which site it was that predicted this (is the game being made by Arc System Works?), but major props to them.  Sengoku Basara has some great characters with personality, so they should translate well to a fighting game.

You'd think it would have been a 3D weapons-based fighter, but I'm more than happy to see this game coming out.  I would have been even happier to have seen a new I.P. or Street Fighter, but in this day and age I wouldn't expect that from Capcom.

Heavily altered AND fucked-up.  But I didn't care much for the first Sengoku Basara either.

It's Sengoku Basara 2 that is OMG AM FUCK AWESOME; easily my favorite in the line of Dynasty Warriors-style beat-em-ups.

Can't wait for the SB2 upgrade coming out this winter!  And now this game too!   :D
