And I just gotta say, while its easier for them (the media) to do their jobs, they aren't buying all the damned games. The public should get access, that is what builds COMMUNITY and HYPE. This year was boring. Publishers COULD HAVE just pumped videos and demos out through the internet to various magazines and had them play the demos and post the videos.

yeah, the one GREAT thing about nerdlingers havin' access was that they'd make posts on forums about the less-hyped games that *i* might actually be interested in. y'know, my people; the uncomfortable fucks who'd ask every developer when they're bringing r-type tactics to the US and who give zero shit about the nintendo booth or whether mgs4 is a system exclusive or not.

They should move E3 to Vegas-a city that is build for this kind of event-and open up the fan site invites a little bit more.

I'd suggest moving E3 to NYC (just because I'm a greedy bastard :P) but it'd be absolutely MOBBED and I don't think the Javits Center can handle that kinda crowd?
