Title: SMT fans, buy 2 copies of Persona 3.
Post by: hyp on July 19, 2007, 05:08:59 PM: i totally regret not buying the PS2 shin megami tensei games when they came out. i've spent way too much time, energy and money tracking them down, but i did, with some moderate success.

on ebay a new/sealed copy of DDS1 w/ collectors box goes for nearly $100+ bucks, while DDS2 goes for $50-60. nocturne goes for at least $60+ used, upwards up to $90 new. devil summoner is still widely available. i've found all of them through some insane research and luckily didn't have to spend too much money. oh and fuck amazon. some people try to sell the SMT games new for $199. :lol

i've learned my lesson, and i'm buying 2 copies of P3 -- keeping one sealed and new to sell on ebay when this shit goes out of print.

i say buy up those $40 copies of DDS2 and hold onto em... that shit will be golden in a year's time.

Post by: ananus on July 19, 2007, 06:21:52 PM: didn't dds2 come out some 2383 years ago? why would it get more expensive next year? the reason the other games are expensive is because atlus didn't print enough copies. i doubt there'll be more people going after dds2 next year.
