If you're like me, you have many fond memories of playing Sonic the Hedgehog as a younger child. The speedy blue hedgehog was famous for his bad boy attitude--and everyone knows that the "bad boy" always gets the ladies! Here's how you can use a Sonic the Hedgehog ROM and a few simple freeware tools to make a love connection of your very own!
1. Download SonEd from http://stealth.emulationzone.org/SonED/
2. Run SonEd.exe through the DOS4GW.exe shell.

3. The cursor is controlled with the mouse, and can be used to move objects,
show the editor which object you are editing with the keyboard, and draw
onto the level map. The keys are as follows:
A/Z: Change value 1 (Object Type) on the selected object.
Also for Ring formations in Sonic 2 and up.
S/X: Change value 2 (Object Property) on the selected object.
D/C: Change value 3 (Object Property 2) on the selected object.
(Sonic CD has two extra object properties that the other games don't.)
(These may control what time zone the object appears in.)
G/B: Change value 4 (Object Property 3) on the selected object.
H/N: Change value 5 (Object Property 4) on the selected object.
F/V: Change grid snapping for precision object placement.
P: Switch between object editor and level map editor.
G: (G)rab the 128x128/256x256 tile under the curor.
Alt/Ctrl: Change current selected 128x128/256x256 tile for drawing.
O: Switch between tile/mapping/palette editor and object editor.
Esc: Exit the program.
4. Spend several hours creating loops in the shape of hearts, rings in the shape of your true love's name, and hacking the title screen to show your prom photo in place of Sonic and Tails.

5. Delete your shitty hack and SonEd from your system because you aren't a hopeless gaywad.
6. When your lady friend comes over that evening, drop hints that you have something special planned for in bed later that night. Stick your Sonic 2 cartridge up her ass and shout, "LOOKS LIKE IT'S SONIC TUESDAY, BITCH!"

Sonic is distinguished mentally-challenged, you just run around and shit. At least in mario you could throw fireballs, fly or ride yoshi.

Do you guys actually think Sonic 1 or 2 is better than Super Mario World? I remember having both the sonics growing up and never really found them very fun. I do remember enjoying Mario world. At least you could save that game.

YOU COULD SAVE WHEN YOU PLAYED SONIC 3! OR WHEN YOU ATTACHED SONIC 3 TO SONIC & KNUCLES!
Super Mario World is a great game. My heart lies with the Sonic franchise. Well, the beginnings of it anyway.

Super Mario World was a tad better than Sonic, but I think my preference has a lot to do with the controllers too. I was not a big fan of the Genesis controller in comparison to the SNES. lol @ thread.

Sonic is way funner imo. The levels are far more interesting and the music is better. Plus, Sonic ruled. Mario has been GAY since day one.
And lmao @ a Sega fan complaining about OH WOE IS ME. I CAN'T SAVE FOR A ONE HOUR GAME.
