That reminds me of the new guy at work, UltraNerd 2.0. This guy is unbearable. He spouted NONSENSE constantly for the whole 3 hours I worked with him. The best was seeing him jump down customer's throats "CAN I HALP YOUZ?!???!!!1/1?" Also him interrupting convos I was having with friends, yeah that's awesome. :-\

Were you having an out-of-body experience at the time?
-
Tauntaun is the obsolete UltraNerd 1.0, which explains why he's sore.

:lol no just the guitar hero comment because one of my friends came in next door from the music store and he was like, "you guys aren't musicians, I play guitar hero, that's my guitar" also when he was doing air guitar to customers, yeah wish I had a camera, classic stuff.

UltraNerd 1.0 is our Assistant Manager, until yesterday I didn't think it likely he would be topped, I was wrong... :'(
Were you having an out-of-body experience at the time?
no but I wanted to end myself if that counts :gun

I sold many many albums and have played shows in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia.....
Whats your production/tour resume look like?
-
mine is guitar hero.
ARE U GONNA GET ROCK THE 80'S ??! :hyper :hyper :hyper
-
No. The fact that it's 50 bucks is fucking ridiculous.
-
Plus the 80's hardly rocks.

I've played some shows in NYC with the old band that I joined but the lead singer/songwriter moved to LA ( :yuck ) so then I started working on my own band got a bass player and drummer and then the drummer quit and I had a heart to heart with my bass player since he doesn't like metal and so he and I are doing something else. So as for my metal project (which I'd like to put the most effort behind) I've got my brother in law on bass and possibly an old drum teacher at least to practice/record with. Still getting some material together for that. :-*

$50 isn't horrible when you consider the already awful pricing scheme for their DLC. My primary complaint is that 80's hair metal fucking sucks and this shit is filled to the brim with it. The song selection is absolute garbage. GH3 and Rock Band both fantastic song lists so far, which makes these old grapes even more sour.
But on the other hand, Rock The 80s has motherfucking Holy Diver. :rock So I'm sold.

Well, that's the thing...I could put up with the awful song list if it was like $30, maybe. But my $50 would be better put towards Rock Band or GH3. Like you said, their song lists are awesome.

oh, I haven't seen those threads I guess, I'm only usually on from 9-5 EST. :-* What type of music do you play? The band I played in the city with was melodic/rock/indie I guess you could call it
www.myspace.com/riddleymusic (http://www.myspace.com/riddleymusic)
I personally think the lineup when I was in the band sounded better but I haven't been to one of their live shows, just heard some live recordings. Also you can't compare (unfortunately) the record to the live show, way more energy live.

I play mostly analog/accoustic stuff using a barrage of 200 different insturments, devices, toys, winds, strings, etc... I do not do any digital editing or processing and all of my stuff is recorded live onto a dat 4track machine. Was recorded live actually, I havent done it in a long time. The Mics are real ruff like drum contact mics etc...
I love just making stuff up and playing it - you know? Im arrogant and insolent enough to actually do it and have people buy it for some reason. I think its because I never provided info or reality - just distrobuted records mostly on vinyl with no liner notes, pictures or anything. Just names and numbering - like medical records. Good marketing I suppose.
Live shows were fun because I have allot of analog retro gear and its fun to drag it all out and interesting to watch. If you dont see what im using, you cant imagine what im using as insturments as its that many layers destroyed via analog FX.
I dont use MySpace so id have to catch your act somewhere else.
Are you on last FM? There are 2 people on there (LOL) who listen to me and they have allot of my trax on their web radio.
I have over 5,000 recordings I made at ages 11 thru 29.
I like to rework or cover your songs in my own style. I help many get beyond their creative blocks by taking their audio and showing them what I do with it - how i make it organic and temperal.
I wanted to see if some mates on here wanted to trade tapes. I like working with acid burn, electronic and rock artists often and ave collaberation/jammed with Brian Eno, Holger Czukay, David Bowie, Genessis P'Orridge, Boy George, Niel Tennant, Mark Almond and more...I like alot of variety and welcome artists of any style. I will make your trax submit to my devices;)
I made a thread with a link to a podcast where I share a few tracks from over the years;

I thought everyone just hated it - and I wasnt suprised as its not for everyone hahaha.
Anyway - you wanna do some mix work?
I will take your recording, but it on analog tape and use it as an insturment - maybe splice it some - who knows....if you wanna play we can start by exchanging MP3/WAV files via FTP - and then if you wanna get serious we can ship dat tapes back and forth for good quality slices.
What would you do with my audio in your capacity?
