Please explain in convincing terms why you believe that the system stinks.
Everyone believes that I hate the Xbox 360, while it's really not the case. However if there's one system I really openly loathe it's the Nintendo DS. And especially its fanboys continuously raving like N-Sync fangirls.
Its graphics suck. Its tiny speakers' sucky sound makes the music really hard to bear. I fucking LOATHE the two screens, find them to be completely useless and cumbersome in every situation. Most every game I tried seems like nothing but cuddly wastes of time with no substance. I also loathe the touch screen with styluses.
I'm not a big fan of portable gaming, but PSP corresponds a lot more to what I want. That gigantic classy screen rocks. On the DS... Final Fantasy III looks cool, but now I've tried a bunch of DS games again and don't even know if this'd be interesting to play... it's as if the DS had the reverse-Midas touch.

The DSlite is a great system, you would have to be a little ugly freak with something wrong with your brain not to like it.

Drinky only hates the DS when is he isn't playing Pokeman's Let Me Show You Mystery Dungeon. Or Rocket Slime, which is indescribably better than Zelda's Link to the Ass.

I can't take your trolls seriously when you gave Zelda games in years past such high scores as 96!
Besides, even your butt buddy says it's not a sprawling epic adventure, but short bursts of fun, and that does not sound like any Zelda game I know!

Yeah, I wouldn't describe Link to the Past as fun, either, short bursts or otherwise. I'm glad we can agree on something!

I think the DS is good for a lot of 2D games. Excluding the FF3 remake most 3D games on that thing look like a disaster.

I like the 3D/2D hybrid thing the DS has going on, because when the 2D games use 3D elements, that's something you won't really see on consoles because 3D has been pretty much completely embraced (and 2D discarded). Portables will always have 2D games to some extent, like the PSP proves, because they're the perfect platform for [enter publisher here] CLASSICS COLLECTION and the quick, short bursts most 2D games provide. That said, I do worry about the next gen Nintendo handheld that might be fully 3D, because we can probably kiss some of the prettier and cool 2D titles goodbye.
