Stargate made it to a 10th season? I used to see ads for that show on TV and thought it looked so cheap and lame.

What about Blu-ray or Hd-dvd?  I need more good HD movies.  BTW, MAF, were you able to obtain any of those wallpapers that you posted in 1920x1200?

Yeah.  I liked them but their resolutions were too low for my 24" monitor.

Thanks.  It's pretty hard to find high quality 1920x1200 wallpapers.  Most people have the higher-res wallpapers in 1600x1200 which don't look good on a widescreen.

Well I hate recommending 4chan at all, but their wallpaper forum is 98% safe for work. Thats where I get the bulk of my stuff. I troll it so often tho you can probably just lemme do all the work. Stupid photobucket will not accept picture sizes any larger than 1024 on the free account.

Yep. Tomorrow.

I've had it and all the other movies since Friday. The perks of working at a ghetto video store.

It's about this monster (a product of American military dumping) that attacks Seoul and the South Korean family who come together to kill it. It goes from wacky family comedy to action film to scary monster movie.

NOOO!  Avoid at all costs. Don't waste your money or time on this crap.  Not only are the effects cheesy, the story is also extremely boring.  Like most Korean movies, this one needs more and better editing.  Korean movies tend to be too long-winded for the big screen.

Um, yeah, okay.   ???

The Host is pretty dang ace.  I'm not a big fan of blind buying, so I'm not saying everybody should rush out and get it, but I do feel safe proclaiming its non-suckiness.  And if Korean movies suck so much, how come Save The Green Planet is so tremendously awesome?  Huh, explain that.

Universal sucks.

If they didn't suck, I would be getting Hot Fuzz on BLU RAY.

And what about everything that Chanwook Park has done (barring Cyborg, which I havent seen; his 4 other films are all favorites of mine)? Not everything Korean sucks. Blanket statement FTL.

Anyways, The Host is also awesome.

Solo, have you seen any Korean movies other than Chanwook Park's and The Host (which is pretty mediocre, IMO)?  Because one exception does not disprove the rule.

A lot of Kim Di Duk stuff, Memories of Murder, Bittersweet Life, A Tale of Two Sisters, Crying Fist, Memories of Murder, The Host, Save the Green Planet, CWP's films, and a few others I cant think of. Enjoyed most of them. Sure, thats an incredibly small portion of the bigger picture, but thats 10-15 Korean movies right there that I enjoyed quite a bit, so to me, saying all Korean movies suck is a bit of a stretch. For all I know, maybe a good portion do suck. But hardly everything.
