If it had action it wouldn't have been so terrible then. 

The show started off really weak, picked up at the midseason break, was kinda uneven for a bit, and then just limped over the finish line.  I have no idea why anyone gives the show props.

I'm a little confused as to why Battlestar Galactica can have massive space dogfights and elaborate sets/costumes, but Heroes can't afford more than 1 special effect per episode (despite the fact that there's not much in the way of costumes, sets, or location shooting).
