The Pearl District is pretty cool. Check out a show at the Roseland Theater, Doug Fir, or Berbati's Pan. The Just Be Compound Gallery is a cool shop downtown.

As for food, Mother's (409 SW 2nd Ave) has a great menu, and you need to have a donut at Voodoo Donuts (22 SW 3rd Ave).

Powell's flagship store is right in the heart of the Pearl District, actually. Just down from the Whole Foods. Jackpot Records is just down the street from it.

I didn't make the thing though so if you wanna take it and fiddle with it, feel free. I opened it in ImageReady once and it had more than 100 frames though, so it might take you a while lol.

I think my problem with the OP's avatar isn't so much the seizure-inducing aspect, it's that I can't tell wtf it's supposed to be. Sometimes I see a dancer with a strange growth, or a hockey player in a weird pose, or Mickey Mouse with tentacles. :lol
