While not everyone here is playing it fast and loose, I have encountered more 'SURPRISE! NSFW' encounters in your every day threads. This becomes a problem for me, and I suspect a few others, even if they dont recognize it as a problem:

1.) Threads dedicated to dubious topics that may be NSFW should ALWAYS be labeled NSFW. ALWAYS. If I see this rule broken I will lock the thread.

2.) NSFW thread titles must adhere to SFW descriptions of content. NSFW label will do enough to allude to the subject matter, so get creative.

3.) NSFW threads are NOT a free ticket to violate the TOS, or push some of the unspoken rules we have around here. This is NOT Opa Age.

4.) Im pretty open minded, but if you manage to 'freak me out' with something disturbing enough, I reserve the right to lock the thread.

5.) If anyone knows how to make spoiler windows require a CLICK to open instead of a mouse-over, please contact Willco and tell him I sent you.

6.) None of this is open for debate.

Please, for the love of god make this change.  People who put pics in spoiler windows should be beaten within an inch of their life.  It just doesn't work with the mouseover here.

yeah, pics in spoiler windows are kind of annoying, especially if they are large enough to need horizontal scrolling.

I would argue that any NSFW pics should absolutely be an outside link and not inlined, whether opening spoiler windows takes a click, a mouseover, or a psychic thought

Seriously, please ban Junpei now and future ban anyone who posts NSFW shit in spoiler tags. Half the time I don't even see spoiler tags before they're already popping open. The spoiler tags on this forum are next to useless.

MAF, changing the spoiler stuff should be easy.

Here's the code that happens:

You could probably change that to OnClick or whatever and have it work.

MAF, I've hacked together some working code to make spoilers clickable.

You want to change your spoiler code to look something like this:

I also googled and found an SMF mod that does the same thing. In fact, their click code is pretty much exactly the same:

Looks like it's probably the same mod you guys are currently using. Perhaps it's a newer version?

It has a few options: Hover to show, Click to show/hide, Click a button to show/hide.

Inlined stuff is downloaded to your work and computer cache even if you don't click/mouseover to reveal.
