I don't know if I can take his class. I'm not even sure what class he teaches. My school gave him some sort of fellowship as part of their Interactive Media push. I did find the blog for his class:

Ew I know two of the people who are contributors on there. One is some weird Japasexual dude who tried to friend me on Facebook cause I sort of like Earthbound. The other is this creepy weird/annoying girl who was in some of my CS classes.

He's also the Canadian Fulbright Chair in Public Diplomacy at the USC Center on Public Diplomacy.

I have no idea how big of a position this is, but the fact that a hack like him holds any position of importance at a top 30 American University is something of a disgrace. Thankfully I'm not in a PPD or Comm major so this doesn't really devalue my degree any.

The class he teaches is Comm 499 (499 classes here are usually new upper division electives that haven't yet become permanent courses), and the syllabus can be found on the blog. Some of the topics sound kind of neat but most of it reads like a Slashdotter's comment history.

Class is not offered in the fall. Spring must have ended his teaching commitment.
