I was only able to read about 100 pages of Perdito Street Station. Not for me, I'm afraid.
I will say that Rothfuss did a really, really good job w/ The Name of the Wind, however. You can tell that the novel was worked over for years and years- it's very polished. Not only is it written well and a good read besides, but it has the most important characteristic to be a crossover success imo- short chapters.
