Tonight: Driving to Austin to party on 6th street and pick up my brother.
Tomorrow: Come back to Houston, move my brothers shit in. Put together my daughters birthday present. Sleep. Play FF XI.
Sunday...
Scenario 1: Go to a karaoke bar and get trashed with some friends.
Scenario 2: Buy my first legal 12 pack and get wasted with FF XI at home.
Sunday is my birthday and which scenario i choose depends on how i feel that day.

Going to see the Simpsons movie at the Cinerama tonight, while the rest of the weekend will be comprised of us waiting around to see if we got the house.

10 am Saturday morning right now.... just gonna head into the office for a bit to pick up some sweet overtime. Then its games and movies for the remainder of the day. Gonna see 'Death Note' at the movies tonight with my mum. Supposed to be some sweet Japanese thiriller or something

It's based on a manga, which then became an anime series. I was in Japan when the first movie opened last summer, and saw a ton of promotional material for it.

she wants to take me out to japanese shabu shabu... if you haven't had it, it's basically a hot pot of broth boiling and you add ingredients like cabbage, mushrooms, greens and thin sliced meat. on the side you have a bowl of rice and some ponzu sauce (it's like lemon & soy sauce) you dip the meat or veggies in. pretty good stuff, some places are expensive though. but if you're into asian food, it's yummmy.

Tonite, my friend's g/f is throwing a BBQ at her house... I hear she has a pretty cute sister who likes Tiesto and PVD, too :-*
Tomorrow I'm not sure yet, I might hang out with this girl Lindsay, and on Sun, got a coffee date with this girl Amy. Amy likes games, too!

Well I got paid today...
But..it all goes towards first month and last month of rent for my new place=|
On top of that I have to pay rent for where im currently subletting.
And i left my debit card inside the ATM machine.
So ill be hungry and broke this whole weekend. Good times though!
Oh my phone has been broken for 2 weeks.
But im going to the gym in about 3O minutes and then after that probably reading.
Meh all good. its my friends bday next week though!

Friday: Day #5 of boring-ass summer vacation "work" at school. Had to go to get a health check...at this point I couldn't take it anymore, so I used paid leave for the rest of the day. Then the wife and I went driving all over the place looking for a new bed. Double beds are too fucking expensive for us (we don't want to spend a lot, since we're likely only going to be in this apartment and probably this city for one more year), so we settled on two nice n' cheap metal frame beds for 6000 yen a piece. Not too shabby...but they only had one in stock, and I have to wait a week for the next one. Kind of sucks when you're trying to rearrange your entire apartment. So after eating dinner and then going home for more clean-up, I realize that I really must be married, since I'm spending my friday night at home doing housework. :lol Oddly enough, I find myself motivated to get this done. The wife is the lazy one.
Today: Hope to meet a buddy of mine and do whatever. If not, it's MORE CLEANING TIME YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111111 :-\
Sunday: The wife wants to drive like an hour and a half to go to this fucking bridal show thing. It's early in the morning too. ARGH @@#$)#)$)#(#$#(@

Today I:
1. Went to a family reunion (dad's side) picnic UGH. The actual reunion is tomorrow and luckily I don't have to go. One thing that I like about my extended family: most of them are professionals in one field or another, from doctors to teachers to dentists. Reason I can't stand them: OMG BORING controlling bastards. Next time someone points to a 8 year old and says "get off that bench and go talk to your cousin over there so you don't marry her in 10 years LOLZ" I'm pullin out the hollowtips :gun
2. Went to visit my grandma and grand dad, on my mom's side. My cousin was over and we watched Spiderman 3 on his modded Xbox
3. Went to visit my grandma on my dad's side, who wasn't well enough to go to the picnic. She lives in a old people's place sponsored by her church, and it's really nice. But everytime we go over there she's got FRED PRICE on the TV, three piece suit and all. UGHGH. Luckily we changed the channel and got a few nuggets of wisdom from her.
*watching some show on fighting techniques*

Saw the Simpsons movie with the wife, then met up with some friends for dinner at a Mexican restaurant. Then we all found a Dairy Queen and rocked out with Blizzards. Just got home, and we're both dead tired, so it's bed time.

I think I might be buying some shoes today too, PD. Like you, I've worn the same pair of shoes for pretty much everything the past bunch of years. Although, they're not shoes, they're sneakers. I don't know if you were making that distinction or not. Anyhow, all I have is a really shitty pair of sneakers, that decent pair, and a pair of dress shoes. I need something to feel in the gap between the last two. :-[

Yup I've had these Iversons for a long time, and I still think they feel good. When I walk for long periods of time they kinda hurt but I figure the pain makes me stronger.
What kind of sneakers do you prefer? I don't care much about brands, although I like Nike. As long as they're black I'm cool.

New Balance shoes are ridiculously comfortable. And my pair is black, too. :-*
I really hate shopping though, so I pretty much pick up the first pair that I like.

I only wear black shoes; that's just my preference I guess, and it also helps that they seem to last longer than lighter sneakers since you don't have to worry about cleaning them that much.

For a chick I'm sure it's different, but for me it works fine. My shoes never clash with my clothes, at least not very badly. And I'm not a fashion conscience person anyway.
