I really wasn't expecting to see the final suit, I thought they would just show the prototype. OMFG, my anticipated movie of 08'

Not that he even has a functional pedigree that would indicate that he's any good at shooting action to begin with. Aside from fan attachment to the character and Downey, there's really no indication that this will be a good movie.

I think it's pretty transparent that this what Favreau is aiming for, but at least he's honest and cited it as an inspiration.

I agree. Everyone on GAF seems to be pretty gassed about it, but it just looked ok to me - nothing special. But this is just some footage thrown together; a high quality teaser/trailer might get me excited. Either way I'm going to see it
