Title: Should I grow my hair out like this?

I'm worried that because my hairs darker it might look to heavy. and I don't have the same face shape as him, and my beard is curly not straight. (anyone know how to fix this?)

It's not like that, it just that i don't always have the best taste when it comes to hair. like I had a mohawk for like 4 years, had liberty spikes before that, and after getting rid of that I was sure i was going to spike my hair like that pic with he five boys that have spiked hair that all look like idiots.
