Oh right. You majored in philosophy! You were close, I suppose. I mean, they are both useless degrees.

No I did not get into law school. The four local schools that I applied to rejected me. Currently I am unemployed (last interview for a MINUMUM WAGE job did not go too well), miserable and alone. What is the reason for my sporadic postings? Too lethargic and dejected to post anything of interest so I don't bother to post anything at all. I read ten hours a day and spend the rest of the day studying for the September LSAT. Yes, I live a rich and exciting existence.
You should start playing World of WarcraftI find it odd that I've never had much interest in nerd activities. I look like a nerd (that means I am unattractive to the opposite sex) and I shun mainstream culture. I should be playing WoW 14 hours a day while watching Star Trek reruns in my parent's basement.
No, PD. Let him concentrate on his studying.:-[
I hope everything goes well Malek. I love you.
Have you thought about other graduate programs, or are you dead set on Law?No, not really interested in anything else.
I thought TVC liked the office ???
You could always go around telling people you like bears, some fat British fuck and playing shit games on your Xbox. , that always helps. LOLZ, shithead.k
The thing I like about Malek is he's hard working with his studies. 10 hours a day of school related reading would be impossible for me. This doesn't bode well for own interest in entering law school...
What kind of job were you applying for? Seems like if your pants aren't falling down and you can make coherent sentences you can get a basic fast food job.

PD, I don't think I want to work in a fast food place. It would ruin the running joke I had going irl life that my degree would get me a job as an assistant manager at TAco Bell. If, for no other reason, they'd never make me assistant manager. :'(
Oh, and... what pants?
What sanity? You and PD need to stop making assumptions. Pants and sanity... lolzThe thing I like about Malek is he's hard working with his studies. 10 hours a day of school related reading would be impossible for me. This doesn't bode well for own interest in entering law school...

I would fear for malek's sanity if he did fastfood.
I have a position for you as a slave boy Malek. It doesn't pay but it has tasty benefits.
We don't have those chains in Canada, but I did apply to a Canadian equivalent.
Hmmm what about a job at like a book store? I've always wanted to work at Borders or Barnes and Noble. Plus you'd have discounts and stuff.

If I didn't take White Man's...ummm... position, then why would I accept yours.
move to america, dirtbag! If I needed a job bad enough I'd move to Alberta.

And that would help me how?
So is the LSAT the be all and end all to getting a law degree? I thought they'd take other stuff into account such as work, leadership qualities, interview etc.
Hegel, Arvie, Hegel.
Hegel make me sag like my pants.

A Norwegian surrounded by German hot air.
His philosophy kick is a bit disconcerting. :-\
lol a miserable and alone person on the net. thats like a black person in prison.
what pants?
And that would help me how?I though in Amerikkka they looked at such things evidently not.
In Canada it's pretty much determined equally by GPA and your LSAT score. In the US they lean more towards the LSAT.

Yes American law schools do, especially if you are a URM, but they really only care about your UGPA and LSAT score. And that would help me how?I though in Amerikkka they looked at such things evidently not.

Yup. My friend got into USC's law school with like a 3.0. But he did very well on the LSAT
Malek, you should just do law school in the US. I can't believe you wasted a year since you already got in. I know friends that went to worse schools than the ones you got into, who ended up with pretty good jobs. You can also meet up with TVC for some comfort :hump since you're both in the dumps lately.:lolYes American law schools do, especially if you are a URM, but they really only care about your UGPA and LSAT score. And that would help me how?I though in Amerikkka they looked at such things evidently not.

Yeah, law schools seem to be more forgiving than med schools. People would look at you like you're crazy for even bothering to apply to med school if you don't have at least a 3.5 GPA. It's hard even for Stanford or Harvard students to get in anywhere with a <3.3 GPA. Even an extremely good MCAT score can't make up for a low GPA. And it's much harder to score high on the MCAT than LSAT. Consistency and diligence matter a lot to med schools. Unless you're black of course.

Are you in law or med school now? I'm kinda thinking about law school; right now I'm wasting away in business classes. I'll get into the business school at my college soon, but I haven't even picked a major. General business I guess.
