If it didn't have so much cholesterol I'd eat tuna sandwiches for lunch everyday. The protein is great

fresh Kenai river salmon is perhaps the best part of living in Alaska.
There is no finer seafood, excepting perhaps king crab, but only perhaps.
-
Only fish I can really eat is Chilean Sea Bass, since it doesn't have that strong fishy taste that I hate... salmon, ugh.
-
tilapia is pretty good too tiesto. not very fishy taste or smell. Tilapia is a pretty general classification for a lot of different variants, ive only had what DENNYS serves. Thats one of their better dinners, if a little pricey
-
I do a mean fish en papillote using tilapia and a decent Columbia Valley Reisling. It's pretty good, but still "fishy".
Out of all the seafood dishes I make for my wife and I, the one that is the least fishy (besides the crabcakes) is a simple pan-seared peppercorn yellowfin tuna steak. As long as you cook it to medium-rare (pink inside, not red), it really loses any fishy taste and tastes terrific.
-
Yeah, I should clarify a bit... because I do eat a bit of seafood. Mussels Marinara every now and then, calimari, california rolls, and shrimp and lobster. Salmon in particular I could never get into, nor canned tuna.
Frag, yeah tilapia is pretty good, too... a bit stronger than Chilean sea bass but still tolerable. I tried the firecracker tilapia at Chili's and it was really good, the spice I think did a suitable job of cancelling out the fishiness.

i had salmon for lunch yesterday... a thick, juicy salmon steak covered with a creme herb sauce and laid on a bed of noodles and vegetables. we dined under a tree in the courtyard of a swiss castle on the banks of the rhine river. we could hear the whisper of the waterfall as we enjoyed our delicious meal in the shade.
