Obama continues to bury himself even further with his Pakistan comments. Dodd and Hillary just bitch slapped him over it, and then gave him ample time to apologize/retract. He doesn't seem to understand that the US is not in control of the cards with respect to Pakistan. They have nuclear weapons, and I doubt the country needs anymore destabilizing events like oh I dunno, a unilateral invasion. We've got to try to work together with their government because no matter how annoying it is, it's much better than the alternative.

Once again Hillary "won" a debate; my definition of winning here is going into the debate as the clear cut favorite, and leaving as the clear cut favorite. No one was able to hurl anything at her, and she instead focused on showing her experience. Yet she was able to do it quite conversationally, without having to rely on long winded speeches on how much she's done in the senate or with unions. I love Biden, but tonight he really was the opposite of Hillary, constantly reminding people of how much experience he had. It was as if he was working straight out of Kerry's 2004 playbook.
Hillary's victory is even more impressive when you consider the debate was held in Obama's home ground. He had the home field advantage, and while the crowd definitely responded well to him, I never got the feeling that they were more hyped about him than Hillary. Finally John Edwards simply seemed out of place. $400 haircuts have no place in Sparta, or AFL-CIO crowds.

The only fireworks occurred during the Pakistan issue, which I addressed already. Obama is simply wrong, and his attempts to deflect the criticism by pointing out his oppontent's Iraq votes seems like a copout.

It's to be expected, PD. Hillary is a genius, even among whites. How could a black man, even the smartest one, hope to compete in a debate? The only way Obama could win is if he turns it into a freestyle rap battle.

Didn't you hear? Obama doesn't like rap. Hillary has no problem accepting hip hop artists' monies (RZA, Timbaland) but Obama is scared. It's funny because Common is from Chicago also, is a very conscience rapper, and has given Obama love in interviews/songs but will never be accepted by the campaign.
