And I am going to get Labyrinth for sure. Such a guilty pleasure of mine from childhood. The dvd is pretty packed. Commentary, lots of doc's..etc

Yeah, I have extremely low expectations about now, but maybe that means I'll walk away happier than I anticipated. I have to grab it for the collection, though.

Just make sure you have low expectations, and you'll like it. It really wasn't bad.

I really want it, but supposedly Warner is bringing it out on Blu-Ray and HD-DVD later this year, so I'll hold off for now.

Oh, I love this version of Hamlet. I haven't actually seen it since it's original release at the Guild 45th all those years ago...

I probably wouldn't if I had it... I remember borrowing it from a friend and from what I remember the transfer kicked my ass.

Post by: Ichirou on August 13, 2007, 04:55:57 AM: The Taxi Driver DVD I own is even anamorphic, so I see very little reason to upgrade (I traded in my Raging Bull DVD when the SE came out because the original was non-anamorphic). There's some other great stuff coming out on DVD this year, but I already have a huge backlog of things waiting for me back home when I go there for the holidays so I'm very very hesitant to pick up any other DVDs.
