Title: Recommend a good set of PC headphones + mouse
Post by: Howard Alan Treesong on August 13, 2007, 01:49:23 PM
$80 or so for headphones, $50 or so for mouse. I need to get ready to IMMERSE myself in RAPTURE

every dollar I spend upgrading my rig is a blow against Ayn Rand's Objectivist cabal

(someone suggested I play Bioshock on the 360 lolol. But, projector and 5.1 sound... :/)

for me it's more the 5.1 sound that's pushing me over the edge...and with a projector I get 100" of ovary-scrambling goodness

but but I just upgraded my rig ;_;

actually what I'll probably do is play through it on the 360 the first time for immersion/experience, then get the PC version for mods/community

a game so nice I bought it twice!

I use these:

I use a Microsoft Habu gaming mouse, too.  I think you can get those fairly cheap.  The mouse is a dream once you get the somewhat fiddly firmware to install correctly.

jury's still out on mouse. logitech just announced a new gaming mouse (at Blizzcon!) that looks worth waiting for
