Title: Sci Fi Fans - Babylon 5 Seasons 1-5 are 20 fucking dollars at Best Buy
Post by: MrAngryFace on August 14, 2007, 02:15:29 AM
I dropped my poor ass into a Best Buy today to find out ALL normally 60-80 dollar (depending where you shop) Babylon 5 DVD sets are only 20 dollars each right now. Probably a promotion going on to advertise the release of the new direct to DVD movie. ANYWAY, they only had lots of Season 5 copies cause most people hate Season 5 :( but everything else had sold out.

Oh well, I CANT OWN EVERY TV SHOW I LIKE :( WHERE IS MUH FALL GUY SEASON 2?!??!?!?!?

DAMMIT I GOT MY HOPES UP

They're sold out and I bet this is an in-store thing so I can't just order these super-cheap box sets online.  :'(

yeah, its kinda sad I didnt know about this. All I can find is season 5, and the only season I hate more than 5 is probably 1 cause argh episodes based around quirky customs and everyone is bald!

$20 each? Not bad but I'm not going to Bestbuy any time soon. If they were online I'd grab at least one.

I hear ya, the fact that theyre sold out most places is discouraging too. Im sure it was all fatwallet people looking to resell for 20 dollars profit per set.

I woulda bought all five seasons.  I watched that show from start to finish and I liked it a lot.  I'm sure the effects have aged badly, but the super melodramatic acting made up for it.  It was like a soap opera for geeks who were too geeky for Buffy.
